Triflex BIS: balcony waterproofing on top of thermal insulation
Triflex BIS is an insulation system specially developed for balconies and roof terraces, which is used in conjunction with the Triflex BTS-P Balcony Waterproofing System. Older types of buildings in particular are often real energy guzzlers. All-concrete balcony slabs, which transition into heated rooms with no thermal break, cause thermal bridging with all its adverse consequences such as damp and mould. Good thermal insulation can help to eliminate the effect of differences in indoor and outdoor temperature on the living environment. Thermal insulation has the added benefit of improving the living environment and thus the residents' comfort. Heating costs fall because less energy is required.

Thermal insulation
Expanded polystyrene (EPS) boards or polyurethane (PUR) insulation boards with shiplap are used as insulation. The thickness of the layer of insulation is determined in accordance with DIN EN 13163 and DIN 4108 “Thermal insulation products for buildings”, as well as the relevant technical code of practice and the thermal insulation regulations.

Triflex Cryl Primer 276 is used as a primer on absorbent substrates, such as concrete or screed, for Triflex systems with a PMMA base.
Triflex Glass Primer
Triflex Glass Primer is used as a primer on unpolished glass substrates under various Triflex systems.
Triflex Metal Primer
Triflex Metal Primer is used as a primer on various metals and rusty substrates.

Triflex Pox R 100 is used as a primer and for the production of:

Triflex ProFloor is used as a high-quality and durable coating for heavy-duty surfaces in the Triflex BTS-P, Triflex BFS and Triflex TSS balcony systems.
Triflex Cryl Finish S1
Triflex Cryl Finish S1 is used as a finish on Triflex BTS-P (S1), Triflex BFS (S1) and Triflex TSS (S1) systems.
Triflex Micro Chips
Triflex Micro Chips are used for applying “Chips Design” surface designs with Triflex systems. They are a decorative dressing material with an acrylate copolymer base.
Triflex Colour Mix
Triflex Colour Mix is used for the surface treatment of Triflex systems.
Triflex ProTerra
Triflex ProTerra is a high-quality and durable surface waterproofing product for use on balconies, terraces and covered walks in both new buildings and refurbishments. Triflex ProTerra can be used with the Triflex BTS-P, Triflex BWS and Triflex Stone Design systems.
