State Opera Hanover historical copper roof

With its listed masonry structure, the State Opera Hanover has been one of the most representative buildings of the Lower Saxon state capital since its erection in 1852. The historic copper roof had become in need of refurbishment over the years
and had leaky seams and connection areas. In order to prevent water damage in the underlying
rooms, the defective joints and junctions were reinforced with fleece using the detail waterproofing system Triflex ProDetail. The waterproofing specialists at Grossmann & Stühmeier GmbH were thus able to complete the refurbishment work within a very short period of time despite adverse weather conditions.
